Be wise: build on the Rock! Liturgy of August 23 - Twenty-first Sunday of Ordinary Time Dear brothers and sisters, the passage from the Gospel of Matthew that we're going to listen to on Sunday, August 23, tells us of the crucial episode that determined a turning point in the Jesus' discipleship of the Apostles, that is the first profession of faith in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, made by Peter who, for this very reason, would become the first of the Apostles. What an extraordinary gift from God is faith! The Apostles, who initially began to follow Jesus with the secret hope of one day being able to sit at His right or left in a kingdom—that of God—which Jesus proclaimed was near, and which they mistakenly considered purely earthly, they slowly understood more and more clearly that the transformation Jesus wanted to bring about in them would make them far more powerful than the so-called "powerful" people of this world, far more glorious than ephemeral earthly glory can bestow, …ད་རུང་།
irvin88 @BenjaminCaligo DID YOU KNOW? Plants possess true SUPER INTELLIGENCE and consciousness. If you put your saliva on the seed of an edible plant and place it in the soil, something miraculous happens. As the seed absorbs your DNA signature through your saliva, it begins to read your genetic code and intelligently restructures its own blueprint to grow into a personalized superfood — specifically designed to address your body’s unique deficiencies and needs. This powerful ancient connection between humans and plants is real. It’s been known for generations but suppressed by mainstream academia and Big Ag because of the massive freedom and healing power it holds when applied on a larger scale. Time to reconnect with nature’s intelligence. Spit, plant, and co-create your own healing.
The University of Notre Dame's McGrath Institute for Church Life has published on July 17 a report containing twelve proposals for assessing candidates for the priesthood. Entitled, "Do You Know Them to Be Worthy?", the file was written by Father Thomas V. Berg and psychologist Timothy G. Lock. The report draws on research commissioned from the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA) and a consultation held at Notre Dame in September 2025. The proposals concern psychological assessment, candidates with particular psychological or developmental conditions, and formation for chastity and celibacy. It addresses candidates with conditions including ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder and autism spectrum disorder. On homosexual attraction, the Notre Dame authors note that a pause in formation may "more often than not" lead to a decision not to advance a candidate toward ordination. The authors think the pause is needed to assess four things: - how the man understands his identity; …ད་རུང་།
St. Bridget was told by the Lord that bad priests are not truly His priests, but true betrayesr, worse than Judas in some ways, because they sell Christ after He has already redeemed the world. They handle the sacred Host while living in lust, greed, and double lives, then return to sin with firm intention. The priesthood is the greatest dignity on earth, but also carries the strictest judgment (James 3:1).

Today, Leo XIV published a message for the 2026 World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation. He adopts the ecological vocabulary closely associated with Francis’ pontificate. Citing Laudato Si’, he speaks of an “authentic ecological conversion” and in metaphors such as “the ecosystems of the human heart.” The message also contains a naïve statement on warfare. “The true tools for building peace are not weapons of destruction,” Leo writes, listing instead “truth, dialogue, patience, goodness, justice, mercy, understanding, care and love.” Leo XIV enfolds an earthly program of disarmament, poverty reduction and ecological improvement: “Let us imagine a world in which the energies currently invested in war are directed toward integral human development, to overcoming poverty, protecting human dignity and reconciling divided peoples. Such a vision reflects faith in the coming of God’s Kingdom.” #newsUadwzxlixo
Robert Prevost - A DOUBTFUL POPE Breaking the law" means to do an act that goes against an official rule or legal statute. Universi Dominici Gregis, promulgated by Pope John Paul II ( Text Here ), specifically regulates the number of Cardinals who can vote in a Conclave, in paragraph n. 33, which reads in the Latin: Maximus autem Cardinalium electorum numerus centum viginti ne excedat. And which in English would be, precisely: “Moreover, let the maximum number of Cardinal electors not exceed one hundred and twenty.” etc.... It is determined by the norm of Canon Law and by the judgment of the Church in cases of doubt. From the evidence available prior to and after the conclave, Leo the Not-so-Great's election would appear to have been as rigged as his mentor/designator predecessor's. The question is, as in the past when such concerns have arisen, who stops the bus? Pray to the Holy Spirit for guidance, deliverance and conversion. Today's saint, Pope Pius X wouldn't be a bad backup either. Now, he, was a pope.
"For me, the Church is synodal," said Bishop Heiner Wilmer, 65, in an interview with Kirche-Und-Leben.de on 21 August. He is the chairman of the German Bishops’ Conference. In March 2026, Pope Leo XIV promoted the pro-homosexual bishop to Münster, the largest diocese in Germany. Monsignor Wilmer said that synodality is "deeply rooted" in Münster diocese. He added that he was looking forward to "the common journey with many baptised people, but also internationally, ecumenically, and with our Jewish and Muslim brothers and sisters". Grateful for Lay Preaching When asked about lay preaching during Eucharists, Bishop Wilmer admitted that he there are "many" baptised women and men who had been engaging with this issue for years, and that a culture had developed around it. Wilmer has "great respect for this established tradition" and is "deeply grateful" for it. He is "convinced that the wonderful pastoral workers will find a good way to deal with the circumstances” - taking about the Vatican's …ད་རུང་།
Andy @andreas_nigbur THE STAR FORTRESSES MAKE NO SENSE. Scroll through these satellite images. Look closely. These are called "star fortresses." There are over 1,000 of them, scattered across every continent on Earth. Europe. Asia. North America. South America. Africa. Everywhere. And they all look SAME. Same geometric star pattern. Same precise angles. Same mathematical proportions. Same construction techniques. On every continent. In every climate. Built by civilizations that supposedly had NO contact with each other. Let that sink in. The official version? European colonial powers developed this design "independently" for military purposes between the 16th and 19th centuries. The star shape is supposed to deflect cannonballs better than straight walls. But here's what they don't tell you: 1. Many of these fortresses are located in places that were NEVER colonized by Europeans. Deep in Siberia. In remote parts of India. In regions of Africa that didn't have contact with Europeans until …ད་རུང་།
Priest Alters Words of Consecration, Nuns Appear as "Concelebrants". Worse than Germany: A video published by InfoVaticana.com shows Trinitarian nuns at the Monastery of Suesa in Cantabria, Spain, standing around the altar like concelebrants, with their hands extended during the Eucharistic Prayer. The celebrating priest altered the words of consecration, using feminine forms. He said, “Tomad y comed todas de él” (“Take and eat, all of you” — using the feminine todas). Furthermore, he prayed “for all humanity” instead of “for many.” He also replaced “Do this in memory of me” with: “Do this to remember that I am among you as one who serves.”

Slovak pro-LGBT Catholic priest Adam Štefanec, 29, of the Diocese of Žilina said in an August 12 video that he does not like the word “God.” Rev. Štefanec believes that the term had accumulated so many associations that it no longer speaks to people today. “I try to find words that are universal,” he said, naming “humanity” as a universal value. Asked what Christ wants from people, Rev. Štefanec said the answer is “different for everyone,” different in every age, and “constantly changing.” Previously, Rev. Štefanec has supported homosex civil partnerships and said that homosexuality is not a sin.

The mosaics by Marko Rupnik at the Sanctuary of Lourdes will be fully covered in the coming weeks and will remain hidden permanently after Pope Leo XIV’s visit, Bishop Jean-Marc Micas of Tarbes and Lourdes told French newspaper LaDepeche.fr on August 20. Only some of the mosaics, including those on the basilica’s doors, were covered in March 2025. The sanctuary had previously stopped illuminating Rupnik’s works during its nightly processions in 2024. Rupnik is a Slovenian priest and artist promoted by the Vatican for decades. He has been accused by around two dozen women of sexual, spiritual and psychological abuse. An ongoing canonical case concerning the allegations is being drawn out in the Vatican. Bishop Micas has previously said that the continued public display of Rupnik’s work at Lourdes can cause particular pain to victims of abuse who visit the sanctuary. #newsSevwzxkaei
The bishop who oversees the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in France has said the popular Catholic pilgrimage site will cover all of its mosaics by disgraced priest Father Marko Rupnik ahead of Pope Leo XIV’s visit next month.
Tyson is axing thousands of workers and blaming historic cattle shortages and rising beef costs. Considering the USA and the rest of North and South America have so much oil, there is no reason for there to be any shortages of any kind. Much of this is to rip off customers.
