Elon Musk is newly minted as humanity’s first trillionaire, but the world’s richest man seems grumpy. And he definitely is not a fan of mine.
“Kristof is lying through his teeth,” he announced on social media this week.
I got on his nerves for pushing back at his claims that his demolition of the United States Agency for International Development last year did not cost lives. The fracas began after Representative Ro Khanna, a California Democrat, said that Musk had “possibly sentenced to death” a large number of children, and Musk retorted that it was “time to sue this liar.”
“There is not even a single dead child!” Musk protested on social media. I noted that I had met many …More

Across all four platforms, black and white tiles mimic sprocket holes along the top and bottom, turning the entire curved wall into a massive film reel. It is a clever nod to the local area's long connection with the film industry and the world-class movie premieres held in the square above today. 📍 Want to spot this yourself? Post-Consecration Communiqué by the FSSPX

The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X. (FSSPX) “sincerely regrets that, due to exceptional circumstances, these consecrations had to be conferred without the authorization of the Holy Father”, the general house said in a communiqué after the episcopal consecrations today in Ecône, Switzerland.
“It particularly regrets that the Society’s Superior General did not have the opportunity to meet personally with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV to explain, in a spirit of filial devotion, the grave reasons that made this ceremony necessary.”
At the same time, the statement speaks of a profound joy inspired by these episcopal consecrations.

Leo XIV Promotes Monsignor Who Believes in "Non-Binary Third Gender"

Pope Leo XIV has appointed Monsignor Lucio Adrián Ruiz, 61, as Secretary of the Dicastery for the Service of Charity. Until now, Ruiz has served as Secretary of the Dicastery for Communication and will assume his new office on 1 September 2026.
Leo XIV also appointed Massimo Ralli as Under-Secretary of the Dicastery for the Service of Charity.
The transfer of Msgr. Ruiz to “Charity” clears the number-two post at the Dicastery for Communication ahead of the newly appointed female prefect - the divorced and annulled - Montse Alvarado (“It is wrong to Christianise Jews”).

Monsignor Ruiz is a priest of the Diocese of Sante Fe, Argentina. He earned a PhD in telecom engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and built his career as a technician for the [failed] Vatican Internet reform at the Dicastery for Communication.

Tucho Fernández on FSSPX: "In Future, Dialogue Will Be Possible"

The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) "didn't consider useful the dialogue we've proposed", Cardinal Tucho Fernández, soft porn author and Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, told @Michael Haynes on X.com.
Tucho added: "But we hope in future, thanks to the action of the Holy Spirit, it'll be possible. I'm sure, but we'll need time."

Leo XIV’s Final Appeal to the Society of Saint Pius X: When Unity Is Worth Less Than Swiss Francs

Vatican City - Only a few hours remain until the morning of 1 July, when the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X is due to consecrate four new bishops at Ecône, Switzerland, without a pontifical mandate. On the eve of that event, and on the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul - the feast which more than any other speaks of the Church’s unity - Leo XIV has made one final attempt to avert a new schism, through a personal letter.
The text, written in French and addressed to the Fraternity’s Superior General, Fr Davide Pagliarani, is dated 29 June 2026. The Pope writes “with a paternal heart”, not simply to its recipient but also, “through you, [to] the bishops, priests, seminarians and faithful connected to the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X”.
The Church, Leo writes, recognises “the devotion to liturgical life, commitment to priestly formation, apostolic zeal and desire for fidelity to Tradition” which mark those communities. After this acknowledgement, the Pope moves to a direct …

Even though the ordination of a Bishop requires the official approval of the Pope, an ordination of a Bishop without a pontifical mandate is valid.

Aaron the High Priest | The First High Priest of Israel | Feast Day July 1st 📖
Today we remember Aaron, whose feast day is observed on July 1 in the Roman Martyrology. Aaron was the older brother of Moses and played a vital role in God's plan to free the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. When Moses felt unable to speak before Pharaoh, Aaron became his spokesman. Later, God appointed Aaron as the first High Priest of Israel, giving him the responsibility of leading the people in worship and offering sacrifices on their behalf. Aaron's ministry included: Leading Israel's worship 🙏 Offering sacrifices to God 📖 Teaching God's law ❤️ Serving God's people as High Priest Although Aaron was chosen by God, Scripture also shows that he was not without faults. He failed during the incident of the golden calf, yet he repented and continued serving faithfully. His life reminds us that God can work through imperfect people who return to Him with humble hearts. Aaron's priesthood ultimately …More

Aaron - Gedenktag katholisch: 1. Juli
erster Priester

* um 1529 v. Chr. in Ägypten
† um 1452 v. Chr.
Mose …More

This is a video that I have wanted to make for a while as it’s a fascinating piece of history connect to one of the most iconic streets in Britain. Thus, I thought it was appropriate to make it now as I’ll soon be doing my charity cycle ride to raise money for the church in which Henry Jermyn is buried and memorialised. However, the speculation about Jermyn’s fathering of Charles II is probably false, merely being rumour invented by the Parliamentarians. Nevertheless, I’m sure he was a bit of father figure for Charles ! Come rain or shine (and it’s looks like it will be rain) my friends and I will complete our cycle ride. Hopefully, in spite of the forecasted rain, we will bring you all along for the journey! Cardinal Müller: "Time to Free the Roman Rite"

The episcopal consecrations in Ecône, Switzerland, today should lead the Church to reconsider the restrictions on the Mass in the Roman rite, Cardinal Gerhard Müller told IlGiornale.it on July 1.
The restrictions imposed by Traditionis Custodes (2021) have only strengthened the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) by giving them "a symbol of dissent against Rome". They have "almost served as propaganda" for them.
According to Cardinal Müller, Traditionis Custodes "has not had a positive effect": "Using an authoritarian approach to demand blind obedience is not our way."
He praised Benedict XVI's Summorum Pontificum (2007) for bringing "a great deal of peace" to the Church, adding: "One cannot prohibit the rite in its ancient form."
The ancient Mass cannot be harmful when "the saints and the Fathers of the Church celebrated in this form."
Cardinal Müller rejected the claim that those attached to the ancient rite reject the Second Vatican Council, arguing instead that the …More

Instaurare Omnia in Christo

Glad I saw through these men years ago. Starting with Cardinal Burke. First one to run from. The one I was disappointed in slightly was Cardinal Sarah. I had my hope on him to do better and be better. I don't hear much about Cardinal Arinze. I hope he is not joining them. But I have a feeling he has. All of them lost and confused. Like The Holy Apostles when Christ was arrested they abandon Christ. Now they abandon Him again, His Church and the people. Not one stood up for Him. Not one defended Him. And it's all happening again trying to save their positions and life. Forgetting He who gave His life for us.

All told, the president pulled in at least $2.2 billion, a figure that includes other parts of his vast holdings, such as his real estate assets. That compares to a minimum of $622 million his enterprises pulled in for all of 2024, …More
