Netanyahu Orders Access to Holy Sepulchre After Blocking Cardinal Sparks Global Backlash

Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered Israeli authorities to grant Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa of Jerusal “full and immediate access” to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
He reversed an earlier decision after Israeli police blocked the Cardinal and few other priests from entering the holy site during Palm Sunday celebrations. The disproportionate restriction triggered strong international criticism from political leaders.
Israel’s President Isaac Herzog personally apologized to the Cardinal following the incident.
The video below shows the empty, silent streets of Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, devoid of the procession, olive and palm branches, and the cheers of the faithful.

In any case, later in the day the Patriarchate released images from an "intimate and solemn ceremony," with the cardinal blessing the City of Jerusalem from Gethsemane with a relic of the True Cross, imploring peace.
In his meditation, the cardinal referred to the Gospel account where Jesus laments, "Jerusalem, Jerusalem ... How often have I desired to gather your children together..."

A strong joint statement from the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Franciscan Custos of the Holy Land responded to an action by Israel police this morning, preventing the two most senior Catholic Church leaders in the region from celebrating Mass in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
[Article updated after publication with response from Israel's prime minister, below.]
Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa and Franciscan Fr. Francesco Ielpo were unable to make their way to one of Jerusalem's most holy places to celebrate Mass for the beginning of Holy Week as the police turned them back.
The prevention was unusual -- the statement …

English Bishop Claims Fossil Fuels Drive War and Climate Destruction

The Earth’s climate is more out of balance than at any time in observed history, the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) has found.
Bishop John Arnold, lead bishop for the environment for the Catholic bishops’ conference of England and Wales, responded to the findings with “alarm” and said “it is no good simply being aware, we need to act on our awareness of these events”.

WMO’s State of the Global Climate report, published on 23 March, confirmed that 2015-2025 were the hottest 11 years on record, with 2025 at about 1.43°C above the 1850-1900 average.
“The State of the Global Climate is in a state of emergency,” the UN Secretary-General António Guterres said. “Planet Earth is being pushed beyond its limits. Every key climate indicator is flashing red.

Leo XIV Unlikely to Overturn 'Traditionis Custodes' – U.S. Bishop

Bishop Michael Martin of Charlotte, North Carolina, has defended his decisions to restrict the celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass to only one location and to prohibit the use any tools for kneeling at Communion.
In an interview with AmericaMagazine.org on 26 March, he began with a thinly veiled dismissal of Catholics attached to the Roman rite: "I don't want to say that they're some sort of lunatic fringe. They're not. These are people who feel strongly about the liturgy, and there's goodness and holiness in that."
Leo XIV Would Not Change what Francis Has Done
Monsignor Martin referred to his responsibility as a bishop to maintain fidelity to the Church’s "norms". He framed his cruel decisions, especially those relating to the Traditional Latin Mass, as an act of obedience: "All I did was implement Traditionis Custodes in the Diocese of Charlotte."
The bishop rejected the idea of extending the existing Masses indefinitely without a clear pastoral plan to end them: "If we need …More

Iran!

Did you know that after the Macron "Rothschild" Olympics' blasphemous re-enactment of the Last Supper, the first country to defend Christianity and condemn it was Iran? It was not the USA, Britain, Italy, or Israel. In Tehran a billboard went up, with these words: "Indeed, the Messiah, Jesus Christ, Son of Mary, is a messenger of God."

This post is about standing up for Christ. Keep it that way please. Just because no one else defended Our Lord as Iran did, and as quickly as they did, you shouldn't take the good they did for Our Lord and twist it. There are no alternatives. It is a post on how one country we are told is evil was the first to defend GOD! Try to be thankful at least that GOD was pleased with it. Which I am sure he was. Going out of their way to post a huge billboard to defend Him. Did Poland do the same? I would love to see them. V.R.S. Polish conservative leader condemns Paris …

Cardinal Pietro Parolin has introduced a confusing approach to the debate on the relationship between faith and institutions in states with a Catholic tradition. Parolin: “Faith should not stifle institutions, even in a confessional state like the Principality of Monaco”

by Redacción March 28, 2026
Cardinal Pietro Parolin has introduced a confusing approach to the debate on the relationship between faith and institutions in states with a Catholic tradition. In statements prior to his trip to the Principality of Monaco alongside the Pope, the Vatican Secretary of State stated, according to Rome Reports: “Faith should not stifle institutions, even in a confessional state like the Principality of Monaco”.
The statement comes in the context of the official trip in which he accompanies Pope Leo XIV, whose public intervention has followed a different line regarding the role of state confessionality. During his meeting with Sovereign Prince Albert II of Monaco, the Pontiff emphasized the unique value of those countries that maintain the Catholic faith as the official religion, highlighting that this condition implies a specific responsibility in promoting a society inspired by Christian principles.
According to the Pope’s words, faith, in that context, acts …

"Pride, as we have said, was the cause of the sin of Adam, and, consequently, of the ruin of the human race. On this account Jesus Christ came to repair this ruin by his own humiliation; not refusing to embrace the shame of all the insults that his enemies offered him, as he had himself predicted by David: Since for your sake I have endured reproach, confusion has covered My face. The whole life of our Redeemer was filled with shame and insults which he received from men; and he did not refuse to accept them, even to the extent of death itself, in order to deliver us from eternal shame: Who, having joy set before Him, endured the cross, despising the shame."

Now it Can Be Told: The Lives Ruined by the COVID Jab

Apparently, we can finally talk about it in the mainstream media.
For years, we were censored, called names, and polls were done asking people whether we belonged in concentration camps. Half of Democrats believed it should be a criminal offense to question the efficacy of the vaccine.
Seriously. Almost half of Democrats once believed that if you were a vaccine skeptic, you belonged in a camp and should have your children taken away. One of my own family members believed that.
Other findings from the poll:
Other punitive measures in the same poll
From the same survey, with Democrat shares described in the Heartland release and related coverage:
Home confinement for the unvaccinated: Question asks if government should require citizens to remain confined to their homes (except emergencies) if they refuse the vaccine; 59% of Democrats supported this.
Fines for refusing the vaccine: 55% of Democrats supported fining Americans who don’t get vaccinated.
Fine or imprison people who publicly …

What a sad day for Christians around the world

"Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin patriarch of Jerusalem, and Father Francesco Ielpo, the custos of the Holy Land, and two other priests were on their way to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem’s Old City when they were halted by Israeli police due to safety concerns over the ongoing war with Iran." They were prohibited from entering the church. All they wanted to do was to celebrate the Mass for Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord. What a sad day for Christians around the world.Italy's Premier Giogia Meloni put it best, “The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem is a sacred site of Christianity, and as such must be preserved and protected for the celebration of sacred rites. Preventing the Patriarch of Jerusalem and the Custos of the Holy Land from entering, especially on a solemnity central to the faith such as Palm Sunday, constitutes an offence not only against believers but against every community that recognizes religious freedom.”
Cardinal Pizzaballa …
